xPortal functionalities adjusted for UK users, in alignment to local regulations

At xPortal, we are committed to delivering the best possible experience to our community across the globe. However, due to evolving regulations in the UK, we are making some adjustments to certain functionalities within the app for UK users. These changes are necessary to comply with local rules, and we're doing everything we can to minimize the impact on your experience.

What’s changing?

Here are the updates you’ll notice in the app if you're accessing it from the UK:

  • Buy Feature: The option to buy crypto will be removed across the app. We're ensuring this adjustment applies across all relevant areas of the app to stay compliant with regulations.
  • Earn Section: For new users or those without any active staking, the Earn section will no longer be visible. If you have an active stake in MultiversX (EGLD), you will still have access to manage your staking.
  • Invite Friends: The Benefits and Rewards sections tied to the Invite Friends feature will be removed.
  • Play and Mystery Boxes: The Mystery Box campaign, along with quests and missions will no longer be available in the UK area.

Features that you can continue to use?

While we are currently removing a few features, there’s still so much you can do with xPortal! You can continue to:

  • Send, receive, and manage your crypto assets across 7 chains.
  • Exchange tokens cross-chain with ease.
  • Explore dApps and NFTs.
  • Manage and track your portfolio
  • Stay up to date with the latest crypto news
  • Send gift cards
  • Build XP streaks
  • Experiment with AI avatars
  • Chat with friends and more.

These updates are focused on meeting regulatory requirements while preserving as much of your xPortal experience as possible.
