Week 2 is officially live from 27 July to 2 August 23:59:59 UTC, and this week shifts the focus entirely to community & referrals!

Here is everything you need to know to climb the leaderboard, forge your second sigil, and help your friends enter the competition alongside you.

How Week 2 Works

Unlike Week 1, Week 2 is NOT ranked by transaction volume. Instead, your position on the leaderboard is determined strictly by your number of successful referrals.

The "Both Ways" Advantage

This week isn't just about moving yourself up the board, it’s a win-win for everyone involved:

You get ranked: Bringing a friend onboard pushes you up the Week 2 leaderboard.

Your friend enters the competition: By completing their first on-ramp purchase to qualify your referral, your friend automatically joins xPortal and enters The Cipher too! They can immediately start competing for leaderboard positions or season finale rewards alongside you.

What Counts as a "Successful Referral"?

To forge your Week 2 Sigil and rank on the leaderboard, a referral must meet three simple criteria:

• New to xPortal: Your friend creates their account using your unique referral code or link.
• In-App On-Ramp: They complete their first-ever crypto purchase inside xPortal using the in-app Buy feature. (Note: Deposits, transfers, swaps, and card top-ups do NOT count).
• Timing: Their purchase must take place during Week 2 (27 July 00:00 UTC – 2 August 23:59:59 UTC).

Ranking Rules at a Glance:

• 1 Referral = Sigil II Forged: Just 1 successful referral gets you onto the Week 2 ranking board and forges your second sigil!
• More Referrals = Higher Rank: Every additional successful referral climbs you higher up the leaderboard.
• Purchase Amount Doesn't Matter: The size of your friend's purchase does not change your rank, only the number of successful referrals does. The minimum purchase is simply whatever the chosen in-app provider requires.

Fair Play & Program Reminders

To keep the leaderboards fair and square for everyone:

• Main Wallets Only: Remember to invite friends to sign up with their main wallet.
• No Self-Referrals: Referrals from duplicate accounts, automated sign-ups, or self-referrals are automatically filtered out.
• Double Referral Rewards Still Active: Don't forget that xPortal’s standard Invite & Earn rewards remain doubled (50% cashback/rewards) for the duration of the campaign, governed by the in-app referral terms!
